Trace Project

As individuals we collect things, personal objects, some we protect and use daily, others
hide away in lofts or in the garage forgotten but not discarded. Trace Project asks us to
revisit this emotional attachment with these hidden, unused objects from our past. Some
objects you just can’t discard! The memories they hold are too precious to remove, we are,
they are, part of our combined story of our past and future.

The mirrored figures are a reflection of us, they stand separate from the boxes as if stripped
bare of their possessions. This tension created begs the question of who we are once disconnected with our material property?
