It's been a busy few weeks preparing my new installation for the Caol Ruadh Sculpture Park on the banks of the stunning Kyles of Bute. What an amazing location! We arrived on site early in the morning with tide out and seemed as if we had plenty time. Within an hour the tide was rushing in! I've never worked so fast to install one of my sculpture installations!
Anyway with gratiful help of my team and one of the organisers we managed to fix all the figures onto the bases as the water laped around us!
The sea and Nature waits for no man!
The exhibition is open until the end of September 2012

Really please to re-install the ' vestige ' Installation yesterday. With the help of two of the Forestry Commissions finest, Malkie and Eddie, we worked away all day to install the new mirrored stainless steel figures. Boy they were heavy!
Had some really encouraging comments from visitors as they passed by! At first they must have wondered what was going on! Quite a few had seen the first installation in 2009 and were delighted that the figures are now going to be there as a permanent installation.
If you would like to see the installation the centre is open all year round. For more information visit the centres web site at David Marshall Lodge Visitors Centre.

I've been invited to create a new installation of mirrored figures for the 8th Godington Sculpture Exhibition in Kent. This ancient estate is one the finest in the South East and looks stunning! Really looking forward to the event.
Exhibition open to the public from 20th July to 12th August 2012

It's been a busy week making the new figures for the new bog walk at David Marshall Lodge in Aberfoyle.
The new paths are looking great, so should be able to install the new permanent " Vestige " installation in about two weeks time. Great to think that they will be there, part of the natural environment for decades to come. Thanks to all the staff at the Forestry Commission for their commitment to the project.

I just want to say a hugh thanks to Ross McCrosson, the managing director and all the staff at Clydeside Galvanizers in Glasgow who do a great job of galvanizing all of my metal sculptures for outdoor installations. I can highly recommend them , just call 0141-334-9678
