Heat coloured bowls
These unique bowls are hand made by spinning flat sheets of metal to form a concave shape and burnishing the surface. The colour and patterns are achieved by heating the surface of the metal with a propane tourch which alters the crystal structure and creates the colour. In essence the torch replaces the brush to draw out the various hues locked within the metal.
